Member Services In 1996, leaders representing a cross-section of Ohio's nonprofit organizations recognized the need for a statewide association that would serve as a convener, capacity builder, and public policy voice for Ohio's nonprofit sector. The result was the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations (OANO), a statewide coalition of more than 650 organizations representing the diversity and breadth of the sector. Currently, OANO has more than 650 members located throughout Ohio and involved in a broad range of nonprofit activities. Many of Ohio's nonprofit leaders have chosen to become OANO members.
