Our next Ask the Expert session is scheduled for August 21st, 2017.
The topic is Strategic Planning and our expert is Kate Smith, CFRM, CNEL, Director at Aly Sterling Philanthropy.

 

What is Ask the Expert? It’s a free service for current OANO members to talk with an expert, and get advice on specific topics such as accounting, legal, human resources, fundraising, marketing…

How does the program work?
Ask the Expert allows current OANO members to make an appointment and discuss ANY Employee Benefit topic specific to their organization.

Appointments:
• Must be scheduled in advance
• Last a maximum of 25 minutes
• Are conducted over the phone

How do I make an appointment?
• You must contact OANO in advance to schedule an appointment:

• At the time of your call you will be assigned an appointment time.
• Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis

Once all appointment times are booked, any further callers will be added to a waitlist and will have first priority the next time the same topic is covered during Ask the Expert.

 

Our expert, Kate Smith, is available to answer ANY of your Strategic Planning questions that are specific to your organization.

Kate Smith is an experienced strategist and detail-oriented manager with a diverse background in strategic fundraising, nonprofit capacity-building and board governance.
Before joining Aly Sterling Philanthropy, Kate served as associate director of The Center for Nonprofit Resources and special events manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Toledo, Ohio.
Kate holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) and Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership (CNEL) from the Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Kate earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bowling Green State University and is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Toledo.
