Job Title: Front Desk Associate

Salary:  $15/hour, 20-24 hours per week (6hr/4 days a week )

Position Summary/Objective

Under the supervision of the Director of Administration, this position serves as the organization’s first point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.

Expectations

In addition to the responsibilities listed, GCAC employees are expected to support the smooth and efficient operation of the organization.  Employees may be required to attend meetings, conferences, or trainings to maintain proficiency.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Greet, direct and assist visitors ensuring a positive experience

·       Answer and screen telephone calls (and email)

·       Provide basic information in-person and via telephone

·       Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries

·       Overseeing supplies and deliveries

·       Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable

·       General office support across the organization

 

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

·       High School diploma or equivalent

·       Previous experience in an office environment

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, Outlook

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Solid organizational and time management skills

·       Strong teamwork skills

·       Punctual with strong attendance history

 

 

Schedule and pay:  20-24 hours per week (4 days at 6 hours).  Scheduling is available between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (TBD).  Please note that longer hours may be required close to and during the Columbus Arts Festival and other events.
