Position Overview
Linden Econmic Development Alliance is a small, start-up economic development nonprofit seeking a Business Development & Community Outreach Officer to help build relationships, listen to community needs, and support local businesses and entrepreneurs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with people, building trust in the community, and helping shape programs in a growing organization. As a small team, we value flexibility, collaboration, and initiative. This position plays a key role in helping the organization grow its presence and impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community partners
Conduct informal outreach to understand business needs and challenges
Serve as a welcoming point of contact for community members engaging with the organization
Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and small business gatherings
